Sally’s Army is a community choir for women’s voices which rehearses every week during term-time in Otley. We sing a wide variety of music, with a repertoire spanning 400 years, and there are no subscriptions or auditions.
Sally’s Army sang together right through the Covid period, online and in person, and we are proud to be a strong musical, resilient and supportive community.
Sally’s Army has given concerts in aid of many different charities, including Martin House, Heart Research UK, Joanna Project and Singing for the Brain. We have more than 70 members of all different ages and we go out of our way to make new members feel welcome.
As women we often give such a lot to other people and singing with Sally’s Army is a chance to take an hour a week for ourselves; to sing and make music together, to enjoy each other’s company, to recharge.
Please email sally@sallysarmy.com if you would like to come along and try out a rehearsal.
Rehearsals are £7 a session and the first one is free.
